ABOUT US
R.T Agri is headed by Richard Oldfield. From a young age, Richard has spent most of his life helping on the family farm alongside his brothers as well as working in the agricultural industry. Starting his working life qualifying as a tractor mechanic, Richard gained knowledge and experience which enabled him to become the project manager for the leading robotic milking company Lely Longtown. Inspired by the installation of robots at the Oldfield family farm, Richard felt he could offer products and services that would enhance the installation. With this in mind, he formed his own agricultural engineering business, supplying customers with stainless steel floors and various other farming solutions. With the ever growing demands for his products in the agricultural industry, Richard decided to leave his role as a project manager and dedicate all his time, knowledge and energy to running R.T Agri.

We can help with planning applications, and can ensure that your plans are suitable for ongoing projects, and possible future expansion. We can ensure that your building is suitable for your requirements, including cubicles, flooring, feeding, watering, mattresses, barriers, lighting, and ventilation.
We offer full project management services should you wish to employ your own contractors, or carry out works yourselves and can advise on design, costings, construction, installation, and system commissioning, ensuring that your project runs smoothly at all stages.
FEATURE PRODUCT
STAINLESS STEEL FLOORING
Stainless Steel flooring is fitted to protect the concrete sub-floor from damage caused by Peracetic Acid which is dropped during the pre-treatment process on the Robot brushes. If this acid is allowed to drop directly onto the concrete floor, it quickly causes corrosion. The flooring is designed and manufactured to fit neatly around the Robot footprint, and is bonded and bolted down to ensure full protection is afforded to the concrete below. We are proud to have designed and developed this system ourselves, and have been installing it for several years, proving it to be a valuable investment.
If you are interested in installing our flooring, it is important that you get in touch at early stage of your project to ensure that the necessary allowances are made during the construction process.
